The PTO Senior Dessert/Brunch is this Thursday, October 3rd.
This is a wonderful event where our children entertain local seniors and we feed them goodies! If you can help out by sending something in, please sign up below. If you know of a senior who would like to come, tell them!
The event is at 1pm on Thursday and baked goods can be dropped off in the morning. Thank you!

CES PTO Fishing Derby
Sunday, October 6th from 12-2pm
Catch what you can and bring it back to CES between the hours of 12-2pm. We’ll measure it and the biggest fish in each category will win a prize. If you don’t catch any fish, you can still come to CES and see what your friends caught.

Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program
The CES PTO has been chosen again to participate in the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program! For the month of October, every $2.50 Community Bag sold at the Hannaford store located at
596 Columbia Turnpike, E. Greenbush, NY will generate a
$1 donation to Castleton Elementary School PTO!
**Please spread the word and stock up on reusable bags!**
Hannaford Helps Schools Program
Thursday, October 24th and Friday, October 25th
Students will have a chance to shop with their class on these days. Send your child in with money or a check made out to CES PTO. Please be sure to consider tax when calculating the amount needed. Parents will also have an opportunity to shop on Friday, 10/25 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
We are in need of volunteers on both days and at parent shopping.
CES PTO Halloween Party
Friday, October 25th from 6pm-8pm
Costumes are encouraged (no masks or weapons)
$5 suggested donation payable at the door
Small Fry Book Club
Help Mrs. Rattner fill the library with more books! Books can be purchased through Amazon at the link below and donated to the CES library. Books purchased through the Small Fry Book Club will be recognized at the morning assemblies. Any books purchased and received before October 15th, will be recognized at the Morning Assembly on October 17th.
