Tuesday January 10– Wear pink or red to school for Author/Illustrator Emma Virjan’s visit to CES.
Wednesday January 18– School Banking/ School Store
Tuesday January 31- 8:15am morning assembly hosted by 3rd grade. Students should wear assembly shirts / grade color.
Friday January 20 – Grade 4-5 Fun Night see flyer that went home for details.
Box Tops– Ask friends and family to save them for you. Make sure to send them in an envelope/baggie labeled with your students name and teacher. Don’t forget you can use the box top app to earn bonus box tops for our school.
Weather– Parents are reminded to please ensure their children have warm clothing for school so they can enjoy recess outside or if there is an emergency requiring a building evacuation. Students typically are allowed out for recess if the temperature is above 20 degrees, although wind chill and other factors may keep students inside.
School Bucks at Colonie Center- Don’t Forget, every time you, your family, and your friends shop at Colonie Center, you can help CES earn points. Save your receipts, and bring them to the Guest Service Desk, located near Five Guys. Its real easy just ask for a school sheet, write Castleton Elementary at the top, total your receipts for each store and mark it next to their name. Hand the sheet in and show your supporting receipts to the Customer Service Rep, they will stamp each receipt and hand them back to you and you are done.
