We are currently looking to fill 2 major chair positions, the School Store and the School Banking. Both run concurrently from 10:15 to 1:00 twice a month on Wednesdays. We understand that many people work and it is hard to get to school this often, but perhaps these roles could be filled by a SAHM, a person with an unconventional work schedule, or perhaps knows of a retired grandparent. Sign up with a friend and split the responsibility; it will make it more enjoyable!
For School Store, the chair is responsible for stocking the store (probably best to look now for deals on $.25 crayons), setting the prices, keeping an inventory and then doing the actual selling on the Wednesdays the store is open. There is also a Grand Opening in the evening Wednesday on August 30th.
The School Banking chair collects the money for deposit in the kids' accounts on the appointed days. The money then needs to be deposited by the following day at the CapCom North Greenbush branch. Occasionally there will be contests and such that will need to be communicated to the school community.
