PTO Holiday Bazaar December 11^th & 12^th

What is it?

The Holiday Bazaar: The PTO collects no longer needed items from the CES community to supply the Holiday Bazaar.   All items should be in good condition- gently used or new. 

Students are given the opportunity to purchase holiday gifts for their loved ones at rock bottom prices- 25 cents per item!!!! Your child brings in a list of up to 5 family members (exceptions will be made for those with a higher number of immediate family members), a quarter for each person on their list and a reusable grocery bag to bring home the items (for 4 family members, it is okay to send $1).  They get to choose a gift from our expansive donation tables and experience the joy of giving during the Holiday season!

** Please let your child know they are purchasing items for OTHERS in the spirit of giving. 

What we need to make this happen:        

WE NEED DONATIONS!!!    Clean out your closets & drawers and donate unwanted items that our children can then purchase for a quarter each. Items MUST be appropriate and safe for children to handle (check the content in books, games or movies).

IDEAS:   Do you have a bottle of body lotion you don’t use?   Candles you will never burn? Decorative items?  Women’s purses & accessories? Jewelry you won’t ever wear?  Photo frames?  Holiday decorations you can live without? Children’s toys, games, books & movies? Video Games? Men’s ties? Trinkets?  Tools? DVD’s? Cookbooks?  Who doesn't love a re-gifted knickknack?:)  Puzzles? Family board games?  Cleaning out your home can be so much fun!

********PLEASE- NO stuffed animals or clothing (except for men’s ties)********

All items should fit in a grocery bag because the children will have to carry these items home on the bus.

******ITEMS FOR MEN/BOYS are especially needed!!!!*******

PLEASE Spread the word to your family & friends.    Donations are the only source of gifts for this event. We are in need of thousands of items!  There will be an area inside the main entrance to CES where you can leave your donations for us to sort and categorize prior to the sale.  If you have a large amount of items to donate please schedule a time with me beforehand so they aren't disrupting normal school business.  We will also need volunteers to help the children shop during the school days on the 11^th and 12^th, please email with the times you would be willing to help with the fun!
