Upcoming Dates and Events to Mark on Your Calendar:
10/2 – October PTO Meeting at 6:15pm in the CES Library
10/10 – Lunchtime School Store and School Banking
Students have an opportunity to purchase school supplies priced between $.10 to $2.00 during their lunchtime as well as bring in money for school banking. If your child does not have a CAPCOM Bank Account, here is info on opening an account: https://www.capcomfcu.org/personal/banking/kids/
10/12 – CES Artworks Night – 6:00pm-8:00pm
The CES Artworks Night will be held Friday, Oct. 12 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Students and their families are invited to spend an evening at CES creating personalized items using their own artwork. Artwork can be purchased on t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc. Items will be received in time for Holiday presents. Children can color that night or bring in artwork, but it must be able to fit on the vendors art paper which is approx. 8 ½ by 11.
10/17 – CES Senior Citizen Dessert – 1:00pm-2:00pm
We invite local seniors to CES to enjoy desserts and snacks and be entertained by our students. The seniors and the kids truly enjoy this event. If you can help out by bringing a dessert that would be wonderful. Sign ups to come on PTO Website.
10/18 – CES Fall Picture Day
10/24 – Lunchtime School Store and School Banking (See more details above)
10/25 – CES Monthly Morning Assembly – 8:15am
Parents, family and community members are welcome to attend. Spirit Shirts should be in before the assembly. Students should plan to wear their spirit shirt to all assemblies unless otherwise told by their teacher.
10/25 – 10/26 - CES Book Fair
Scholastic Flyers will be coming home. Students will have a chance to shop with their class on these days. Send your child in with money or a check made out to CES PTO. Please be sure to consider tax when calculating the amount needed. Parents will also have an opportunity to shop on Friday, 10/26 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. We are in need of volunteers on both days and at parent shopping. Sign up for Thursday or Friday.
10/26 – CES Halloween Fun Night – 6:00pm-8:00pm
Join us for some Halloween Fun during Book Fair parent shopping. There will be Games, Crafts, Food and of course CANDY! Costumes are not required, but may be worn. Please no masks that cover the entire face or weapons. We are in need of several volunteers to help with this event. Look for sign ups on the PTO Website.
Holiday Bazaar – Start saving any items you may have to donate to the Holiday Bazaar.
Contact us to make arrangements to drop off anything you may have. We are always in need of items for men (sports items, ties, etc.). Thank you!
11/6 – November PTO Meeting – 6:15pm
