Fishing DERBY

2:00 – 4:00 PM


Catch what you can and bring it back to the CES between the hours of 2PM-4PM. We’ll measure it to see which fish is closest to the measurements listed in each category.


  Sunfish 9 inches

 Trout 13 inches
Perch 9 inches

                   Bullhead/Catfish 20 inches
Bass 15 inches

      Crappie 11 inches


*No EELS Permitted!

  
FISHING DERBY RULES

1) Fish must be alive at the time they are measured by the judges.

2) Only 2 fish per child may be accepted for judging

3) Derby is open to CES students ONLY

4) Fish will be measured from the mouth to the tip of the tail

5) Prize awarded for fish that most closely matches the measurements listed.

6) To lessen the confusion, each child should have his/her own fish in a separate container
