The CES PTO will host the annual Faculty Appreciation Luncheon this year on the last day of school, Thursday June 26thfollowing the half day school dismissal. Half sheet flyers will arrive home today or tomorrow with your student that requests parents help by sending in a donation of $2.00 per child to offset costs. In addition, this year we would like to ask for donations of home made food items.
The money collected from donations is typically used to purchase paper goods, decorations, and a small "goody bag or gift" for each faculty member. Home made food items from parents would be very welcome and helpful in offsetting the PTO costs. They would also be much appreciated by the hard working CES faculty! Here are some items we could use, but if you have an idea and it is not listed, please let us know!
- Casseroles, Quiches
- Crockpot items such as chili, meatballs, soups
- Bread, muffins, rolls
- Salads-pasta, potato, coleslaw, greens or fruit salads
- Veggie platters
- Desserts of any kind
If you can provide one of these items or something that is not on the list, please contact Susan Penn (contact info below). It will be your last donation for the year!
ALSO...we need help with the event this year.
9:00 am-10:30 2 people to help set the tables, set up food, etc.
10:30- 12:00 2 people to oversee event by making coffee, replenishing food, paper products, etc.
12:00-12:30 (approximately) 2 people to clean up after the event.

This is a great way to give back to your child's teacher, Mr. Chevrier, the custodians, office staff, nurse, librarian, art teacher, music teacher, etc. They really appreciate this event!
